In-depth knowledge of Functional Safety

The most important Mipro commitment is to deliver safety systems, both for railways and for water and energy industries. Functional safety is part of overall safety and it depends on the correct operation of a system, hardware or software.

The TÜV Functional Safety Professional training which deepens functional safety skills is a course organised by Risknowlogy GmbH. It has been completed by more than 40 miprons over the years. The course consists of tuition of five days and at the end of the intensive study the level of competence is measured by an exam on the sixth day of the course. This year, right at the beginning of the year, 11 miprons took part in the course.

After passing the exam and meeting the training and work experience criteria, the course participant is granted an internationally known personal safety professional certification issued by TÜV. The general standard for functional safety, IEC 61508, serves as a framework in the training and provides a good ability to apply any industry specific standards.
