Mipro Oy has a year of celebration

The Finnish private company Mipro Oy (Ltd.) has been involved in the automation business for various industries since 1980. When established the company was known by the name Mikkelin Prosessiohjaus Ky (Mikkeli Process Control) and specialised in the process industry and water supply automation. The current company name Mipro was introduced in the beginning of 1991.

In the early 1990s, the company started to focus on the development of safety related railway systems, and the first level crossing control system was delivered in 1995. For the past two decades Mipro has been a pioneer of safety related railway systems in Finland. In addition, comprehensive water management processes have remained among Mipro’s core business segments, and the company is a leading water and energy management system supplier in Finland.
