Chemical industry

Since 1987, we have implemented safety systems based on programmable safety logics for the processes of the chemical industry. Programmable safety logic type approved for safety related applications provides reliable and flexible tools to implement comprehensive systems. With programmable logic, the changes occurring during the process life-cycle can be flexibly and safely implemented, even during short production shutdowns.

In chemical processes, the reaction is often based on functioning in extremely exothermic conditions. On the other hand, the substances used in the processes are by nature such that when they are freely mixed with oxygen there is a risk of fire or explosion. 

In basic process planning, process equipment and controls required by emergency stops are taken into account from the start. The emergency stop is designed so that dangerous processes can be run in a stable state in a controlled manner. In practice, the materials are directed to the storage tanks or torches, the reactions are extinguished and the work cycles are stopped.
